2016 Mid-autumn festival

    This year our traditional festival——the Mid-autumn festival will take place on September 15th. and we will have a short holiday from September 15th to September 17th.

    What is the Mid-autumn festival?

    August 15th in Chinese Lunar Calendar is the Mid-Autumn Day.It is one of the most important traditional festivals in China.

    On this day people usually go back home to have family reunion.Each family will have the members get together to have a big dinner.The most popular food is moon cakes.They are round and look like the moon. In the evening of the Middle-Autumn Festival, people get together in a vacant place, eating delicious moon cakes while appreciating the beautiful moon hanging in the dark sky.
